Stacking the Shelves (July 20, 2014)

Tynga of Team Tynga's Reviews has a meme to spotlight the books we receive each week. Visit her site to check out the linky and see what everyone gets. I guarantee that your TBR pile will grow.

Here is what I got this week.
I fed my Kindle with a couple of daily deals this week.

And the Miss Ran Away with the Rake by Elizabeth Boyle was a daily deal on Friday. It sounded like a fun historical romance.

Known Devil by Justin Gustainis was a daily deal on Thursday. I have more books in this urban fantasy series.

I got a print copy of Killer Ambition by Marcia Clark because it was less expensive than the Kindle version. I read the first book in this series and enjoyed it. This is actually book 3. I'm still waiting for book 2 to arrive.
Earlier in the week Mercedes Lackey's Diana Tregarde series was the daily deal. I have three of these books in print and enjoyed them. I decided to buy them and the fourth book which I haven't yet read for my Kindle.

Jinx High by Mercedes Lackey (Book 3)
Children of the Night by Mercedes Lackey (Book 1)
Burning Water by Mercedes Lackey (Book 2)
Magic 101 by Mercedes Lackey (Book 0.5)
I also got one book for my review stack this week. The Book of Life by Deborah Harkness is the conclusion to the All Souls trilogy. I got the eARC the day the book was released. I have already read it. My review will be posted on July 23.

What did you add to your stack this week?

  1. OOh nice! I tried reading Harkness' trilogy but couldn't get very far into the first book before DNFing it. Hope you enjoy all your reads!
