Stacking the Shelves (Aug. 3, 2014)

Tynga of Team Tynga's Reviews has a meme to spotlight the books we receive each week. Visit her site to check out the linky and see what everyone gets. I guarantee that your TBR pile will grow.

Review Books
I was browsing NetGalley again and found a couple of romantic suspense titles - with hot looking guys on the cover - that sounded good. I chose Bound to Danger by Katie Reus and Irresistible Force by D. D. Ayres. I was approved for both and read them immediately. The reviews are scheduled for these books which are releasing soon.
I got an email from Minotaur Books approving me for Silent Murders by Mary Miley. I thought it sounded good and added it to my Kindle from NetGalley too. It will be released on Sept. 23.

I also browsed Amazon Vine and picked out some books that sounded interesting. All of them have already been released.

Pecan Pies and Deadly Lies by Nancy Naigle is a romantic suspense title that was released Sept. 24, 2013.
Two of a Kind by Susan Mallery is part of her Fool's Gold series. I have all of the books in this series, including this one, sitting on my TBR mountain but have only read the first one. This is book number 11 in a series that is now up to 15. It was released on July 5, 2013.

The Man from Stone Creek by Linda Lael Miller was chosen because I have read many books by this author and enjoyed them all. It was released on Feb. 26, 2013.

Purchased
I bought Attachments by Rainbow Rowell when it was on sale for $1.99 for the Kindle. I have been waffling over whether or not I wanted to read this one. I loved Fangirl but haven't read anything else by the author. I decided I couldn't pass it up at this bargain price.

I got The Undead Pool by Kim Harrison this week too. I have been waiting for the paperback to be released. I like the series but it isn't one that I re-read. A paperback copy one year after the book's release works out just fine for me.
A Kindle copy of Magic Breaks by Ilona Andrews downloaded just after midnight on release day Tuesday. I was reading it by 6 AM. This was another amazing addition to the Kate Daniels series. I will be attending an author event and book signing to meet them and will be adding an autographed hardcover to my shelves too.

What did you add to your stacks this week?
