Description: A surprise inheritance reunites a mixed martial arts fighter with the woman he's never forgotten in the first in a smoldering new series from New York Times bestselling author Lori Foster
Cannon Colter is quintessential hero material: chiseled jawline, shredded body—the works. He's also the guy who rescued Yvette Sweeny from kidnappers, only to put an end to her romantic dreams. These days, she's older, smarter, determined to face whatever life throws her way. Even the prospect of sharing a house and business with Cannon.
Cannon knew Yvette wanted him three years ago. But she was young—and some things are worth waiting for. Thrown together by her grandfather's legacy, he realizes how deep Yvette's scars really go, and how much danger lurks in their quiet town. As pent-up desire explodes between them, protecting her becomes the only fight that matters. And he'll break all the rules to do it….
My Thoughts: NO LIMITS was an excellent romantic suspense title. Since reading and earlier book by Foster, I have been curious about Cannon Colter. I am so glad that this is his story. He and Yvette Sweeney had a very brief encounter after he helped save her and her grandfather when they were attacked by pornographers who wanted to use Yvette in one of their smutty films. But she was too young; he was just getting started on his career as a martial artist. It was the wrong time for both of them.
Now about three years have passed and they are thrown together again by Yvette's grandfather's will. The grandfather left Cannon a letter asking him to persuade Yvette to come back home. Cannon is more than willing to comply. He hasn't gotten over her. She's old enough now and he is well set in his career.
The only problem is the Yvette is still struggling to get over the attack on her and her grandfather. She feels that if she isn't calm and in control everyone will still pity her. She doesn't want to draw attention to herself. And she can't believe that the famous Cannon Colter would actually have anything to do with her. He is so hot that every woman wants him and she has some sexual issues as a result of the home invasion. To add even more excitement, she is being harassed by an old boyfriend who has followed her back home from California.
I loved both Cannon and Yvette and thought they made an excellent couple. I also liked Cannon's circle of friends and can see lots more romances coming out that MMA gym. I'll be eager to read all of them.

He tugged at his ear, uncomfortable with the latent resentment. Yvette was not the one that got away. She wasn't a missed opportunity. She was only a girl he'd gotten to know under extreme, dire circumstances. A girl he'd wanted, but had been too noble to touch...much.I got this eARC from NetGalley and am on the blog tour for this book. You can buy your copy here.
