This is a newly released debut paranormal novel by a new Minnesota author - Carolyn Crane. The title is Mind Games. The heroine is most unusual. She has found a way to turn her raging hypochondria into a weapon. I like the way the sentence sets us up in a place and introduces a character - Shady Ben Foley. Why "shady"?
