Happy Friday everybody!
Book Beginnings on Friday is now hosted by Rose City Reader. The Friday 56 is hosted at Freda's Voice. Check out the links above for the rules and for the posts of the participants each week. Don’t dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST.
I was recently offered Timeless Desire by Gwyn Cready for review by a publicist at Blue Dot Literary. Since I needed some adult books to review, liked romance books, and haven't read a time travel romance in quite a while, I accepted. As an added bonus the main characters in a librarian.
Beginning:
"I just think librarians are the glue that helps stick a community together," Marie said, clasping a hand over her heart as she said it.Friday 56:
Marie poked her head into the entryway. "Oh, there you are. For our 'Are they out of their minds?' question of the evening, we have the Teen Book Club wondering if they can do a True Blood--hey, are you okay? You look a little, I don't know, weird."I have watched four seasons of True Blood on DVD and like my job too much to show them to a teen book club. This made me laugh.
Timeless Desire was released on July 18.
I looked for this book in Barnes and Noble but they did not have it. It looks like fun. Here is my post:

I stopped watching True Blood in season 1 because it was too racy, I couldn't imagine letting teens watch it. Impressionable as they are....
ReplyDeleteA time travel romance involving someone working in a library... Sounds familiar. Plenty of good places in a library to zap in and out of I suppose - enjoy!
