It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.
Other Than Reading...
This was another quiet week. I have thirteen days left until I retire. My students are finishing up their projects. We have a couple of new things to do but fourth grade may not get to the last thing. Time is getting tight and other activities are pulling them away from Media.
At home, I am continuing to get ready for my rummage sale. A friend and I worked for five hours last night pulling things out of kitchen cupboards, pricing many, and arranging them in my garage. My friend, who is handy, also replaced the molding I had removed to fit in a book shelf I built. She and her boyfriend also came by earlier in the week to pick up a set of bookshelves and move another set of shelves to the garage for displaying things for the sale. I'll also put on price on those shelves and hope to sell them at the sale too.
I have a couple of experienced rummage sale ladies coming to my house Wednesday evening to help price things. I have no clue what I should ask. I don't want to price too high but too low isn't really a good thing either. We still have lots of things to move from upstairs to down and downstairs to up before the sale. I see lots of flights of stairs on my Fitbit in my future!
Read Last Week
I read A Merciful Truth by Kendra Elliot. This is the second romantic suspense story starring Mercy Kilpatrick. I enjoyed this story. My review will be posted on June 1.
I also read Into the Fire by Jeaniene Frost from my TBR pile. This ends the Night Prince novels and was a good conclusion. My review will be posted on May 27.
Currently
I am currently reading Run to Ground by Katie Ruggle. This is a romantic suspense title from my review stack and one of six books I have that are being released on June 6.
Next Week
I have Silver Silence by Nalini Singh coming up next week if I can find time around meetings and my rummage sale.

I am eyeing the Amanda Quick, as I love Jayne Ann Krentz's books...and the era of The Girl Who Knew Too Much works for me.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting that you are counting down the days and your rummage sale sounds well-organized. Have fun with that...since moving can be so stressful.
I moved ten years ago, from a bigger house and a small town...back to the city. I think I've blocked out most of the stress...LOL.
Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.
I'm looking forward to your reviews for A Merciful Truth and Run To Ground. They both sound great and are really calling my name. Have a wonderful week and good luck with the sale, Kathy. Happy reading. :)
ReplyDeleteI hear so many good things about Nalini Singh. She is totally on my list of authors to check out.

Good luck with the rummage sale, and wow the big day is getting close isn't it? Edited Out looks fun, and I keep seeing good things about The Girl Who Knew Too Much.
ReplyDeleteHope this week is good for you.
Best of luck with your sale, and enjoy your last 13 days of school.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are pretty organized for the sale, but I know what you mean about the pricing being just right. It's hard to know.
Death in the Abstract and The Girl Who Knew Too Much look good.
ENJOY this new week.
