I have not been able to really get into a book for about a week now. I'll pick one up, read a few pages, and set it down again and go do something more exciting like dishes or laundry. I need to find a book to re-ignite my enthusiasm.
Last month I read:
- Tortall and Other Lands by Tamora Pierce
- A World I Never Made by James LePore
- Dark Mirror by M. J. Putney
- Game for Seduction by Bella Andre
- Wither by Lauren DeStefano
- River Marked by Patricia Briggs
- Wilder's Mate by Moira Rogers
- Kat, Incorrigible by Stephanie Burgis
- The Vampire Voss by Colleen Gleason
- Steam & Sorcery by Cindy Spencer Pape
- Skyblaze by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller
- Fallen from Grace: A Bonus Dark Mirror Story by M. J. Putney
- A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness
- Spirit Dances by C. E. Murphy
- The Fires Beneath the Sea by Lydia Millet
- Cowboy, Take Me Away by Kathleen Eagle
- The Abused Werewolf Rescue Group by Catherine Jinks
- The Vampire Dimitri by Colleen Gleason
- The Trouble With Spells by Lacey Weatherford
- Shimmer by Alyson Noel
That was a total of 5794 pages making this my worst month of the year so far. Twelve of the 20 books were sent to me for review. All of the books except Skyblaze and Fallen from Grace have been reviewed on one or the other of my blogs.
Challenge Progress:
- 2011 Debut Young Adult -- 3
- Young Adult -- 9
- Mystery & Suspense -- 4
- Futuristic & SF -- 2
- E-Book -- 8
- Free E-Book -- 0
- Romance -- 8
- Shifter -- 3
- Urban Fantasy -- 2
- Paranormal Romance -- 6
- RYOB -- 6
- One More Time -- 0
It might be time for forget about all of the books I have for review (and ignore all of the stacks of new books weighing down my entertainment center) and haul out an old favorite. I really need to because I haven't read any books yet for my One More Time Challenge.
I only got 9 in and 2 were novellas, so you did good :)
