In My Mailbox (April 24, 2011)

The weekly In My Mailbox post is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. It is fun to see what everyone else gets in their mailboxes, shopping bags, and library visits. Click on the link to The Story Siren's site to see the rules and join in the fun.

I guarantee that your TBR pile will grow when you see all the wonderful books everyone gets. You will discover lots of great blogs and lots of books that you won't be able to live without.

Here are the books and ebooks I added to my TBR mountain this week.
Keri Arthur is one of my favorite authors of paranormals. I had to get Mercy Burns which is her latest and had an intriguing cover.

I love Jayne Ann Krentz whether she is writing as herself or Amanda Quick or Jayne Castle. I had to get Quicksilver which is the second in her Looking Glass Trilogy. She always writes entertaining books.
I got Chasing the Night by Iris Johansen this week too. This is a story in the Eve Duncan series. I decided to wait for the paperback of this one which came out the past week. I enjoy these but am so far behind in my reading that I didn't need the hardcover when it came out.

I also got a free book for my Kindle. Lessons in Love is a Cambridge Fellows Mystery by Charlie Cochrane.  This is a mystery and a homosexual romance.

The last ones I got were recommended by a friend for our shared Kindle.
I don't know much about Warrior's Rise and Dragon Child by LJ DeLeon but have to say that they have great covers and titles. I look forward to reading them too. They sound entertaining and have shifters and romance in a fantasy setting.

What did you get this week?

  4. I have a soft spot for Amanda Quick. She gets me every time I visit her in the fictional past. I breath the mysteries her heroines must face in a very world dominated by men.

    Enjoy the reads :)

  7. Looks like some good reads... Ive liked a lot of Amanda Quick's books, hope Quicksilver follows up to the rest! Did you notice that the author's last name is also the beginning of the book's title? dun dun dun! I wonder if there's a story behind that... Also, I LOVE the quote in your header, so cute :]

  11. I will have to watch for your comments and reviews on some of these - many look interesting. I think I am a few behind in the Eve Duncan series so maybe I should start catching up on those.
    Have a great week.
