Stacking the Shelves (Dec. 1, 2013)

Tynga of Team Tynga's Reviews has a meme to spotlight the books we receive each week. Visit her site to check out the linky and see what everyone gets. I guarantee that your TBR pile will grow.

I added six books to my stack this week.
I was checking to see which authors would be at Spotlight on Books this year to help me decide if I want to attend. I discovered that one of the featured authors was Mary Logue. While she is currently known for the Caldecott Honor Book Sleep Like a Tiger, she also wrote a series of mysteries that are set near where I live. I thought it would be interesting to read them and added Blood Country and Dark Coulee to my Kindle.
More of the Susan Mallery Fool's Gold series arrived through Paperback Book Swap this week. I got Only Mine, Only His and Only Yours. I am still waiting for books 1-3 and 7-9 before I start reading them. Since she seems to write linked trilogies, I could probably start but I want to have a whole stack waiting for me when I begin.
Finally, I got Lover at Last by J. R. Ward for my Kindle. I was looking at Amazon's list of the best romances of the year. I had read most of them but this one wasn't already on my stack.

What did you add to your stack this week?

  1. The only author there I've read is Ward and I didn't like her writing but I hope you enjoy your books. :)
