I love Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden series, but I haven't read anything else by him. Does the one you are reading contain any of the humor the Dresden books do? That's assuming you've read the Harry Dresden books, of course.

This looks like an interesting book...do you recommend it?
ReplyDeleteCodex Alera series is recommended. It would also work as a YA series. It is more like high fantasy than urban fantasy. It doesn't have the same sense of humor that the Harry Dresden series does. The one I am reading is book 6 in the series.
