Teaser Tuesday: Creed's Honor by Linda Lael Miller

My teaser this week comes from Creed's Honor by Linda Lael Miller. This is a Harlequin romance that will be published on May 31. I am reading the eARC from NetGalley. It is a wonderful, traditional western romance. The hero is a modern day cowboy - loyal, honorable, hard-working, caring, and easy on the eyes.

Teaser:
"That's preposterous," Tricia sputtered. But gears were turning in her mind. Was she like her mother? Was she incapable of opening her heart and her life to another person?
