Teaser Tuesday: Hard Bitten by Chloe Neill

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

My teaser this week is from a book that I have been eager to read. I am reading Hard Bitten by Chloe Neill. This is the fourth in her Chicagoland Vampire series and is urban fantasy.


I have enjoyed getting to know Merit and her friends and am fascinated by her world. I love the quick wit and the romance in these stories.


My teaser:
"No one said love was easy, Sentinel."
And then he was gone and the door was closed again, leaving me standing there, dumbfounded, staring at it.
What was I supposed to do with that?
