ARC Review: Creed's Honor by Linda Lael Miller

Creed's Honor
Author: Linda Lael Miller
Publication: HQN Books (May 31, 2011)

Description: Conner Creed knows exactly who he is: a hardworking rancher carrying on his uncle's legacy in Lonesome Bend, Colorado. Maybe a small-town cowboy's life isn't his dream, but he owes the man who took him in as a kid. Until the identical twin brother he's been estranged from for years reenters his life.

Conner struggles with identity issues as he gets to know his wilder brother. And then he meets Tricia McCall, a beautiful woman who knows a thing or two about living someone else's dreams. Together, they just might find their own dreams right here in Lonesome Bend….

My Thoughts:
Favorite Quote:
"Even without these two eyes in my head, I would still have known how much you want somebody to share youre life. Whenever you so much as look at Steven, or Melissa, or any of those kids -- even the dog, for heaven's sake -- it's right there in that handsome mug of yours. A sort of lonely hunger."

"'Lonely hunger?'" Conner asked, with a lightness he didn't feel. "You read too many of those romance novels."
I received this eARC from NetGalley for review. You can get it from Amazon in paperback or for your Kindle at the end of the month.

  1. This looks good. Another one to add! I've got to cut myself off eventually.

I've been in a Southern mood lately, seeking out books set in Carolina, Wyoming, Texas, etc. I lived in South Carolina for a year and I suppose I'm just missing it.

Books with cowboys help me cope. :D
