On My Wishlist May 14, 2011

On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City and runs every Saturday. It's where people list all the books they desperately want but haven't actually bought yet. They can be old, new or forthcoming. It's also an event that you can join in with too - Mr Linky is always at the ready for you to link your own 'On My Wishlist' post. If you want to know more click here.

I can hardly wait until May 31. There are two books coming out that day that I desperately want.

Magic Slays by Ilona Andrews is the fifth book in the Kate Daniels series. I can't wait to find out what is next for Kate and Curran. Here is the product description from Amazon:
Kate Daniels has quit the Order of Merciful Aid, but starting her own business isn't easy when the Order starts disparaging her good name. And being the mate of the Beast Lord doesn't bring in the customers, either. So when Atlanta's premier Master of the Dead asks for help with a vampire, Kate jumps at the chance. Unfortunately, this is one case where Kate should have looked before she leapt.
Kiss of Snow by Nalini Singh is her hardcover debut in the Psy/Changeling series. I love that series! I am so eager to read Hawk and Sienna's story. Here is the product description from Amazon:
Since the moment of her defection from the PsyNet and into the SnowDancer wolf pack, Sienna Lauren has had one weakness. Hawke. Alpha and dangerous, he compels her to madness.

Hawke is used to walking alone, having lost the woman who would've been his mate long ago. But Sienna fascinates the primal heart of him, even as he tells himself she is far too young to handle the wild fury of the wolf.

Then Sienna changes the rules-and suddenly, there is no more distance, only the most intimate of battles between two people who were never meant to meet. Yet as they strip away each other's secrets in a storm of raw emotion, they must also ready themselves for a far more vicious fight...

A deadly enemy is out to destroy SnowDancer, striking at everything they hold dear, but it is Sienna's darkest secret that may yet savage the pack that is her home-and the alpha who is its heartbeat.
I can tell that I have some great reading in my near future!

  4. I'm on vacation. That means: freelance writing, doing some web design work for clients and looking for a job. But when I'm not doing any of that stuff I'm reading or having fun. Come see what I'm wishing for.
