In My Mailbox (Nov. 6, 2011)

The weekly In My Mailbox post is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. It is fun to see what everyone else gets in their mailboxes, shopping bags, and library visits. Click on the link to The Story Siren's site to see the rules and join in the fun.

I guarantee that your TBR pile will grow when you see all the wonderful books everyone gets. You will discover lots of great blogs and lots of books that you won't be able to live without.
Considering that it is Friday night and I am still reading my first book of the week, I got a massive influx of new books this week. These are the ones that followed me home.
These two free ones were added to my Kindle. I chose Wild & Steamy because I have read and liked books by all three authors. I chose I Dream of Genies by Judi Fennell because it had a cute title. And, did I mention free?
I bought Beauty and the Werewolf because I am a fan of Mercedes Lackey and have read a few other books in her Hundred Kingdoms series. Besides, it has werewolves, apparently. I also got Tied with a Bow because it has stories by Lora Leigh and Eileen Willis. This one looks like it edges into the erotic territory of romances.
Heart of Steel by Meljean Brook came out this week and had to be added to my stack. I really liked The Iron Duke and thought Brook an a nice take on Steampunk. I look forward to reading this one soon.

The Wild Ways by Tanya Huff follows The Enchatment Emporium which I really liked and is a contemporary fantasy.
On the urban fantasy front, I added Drink Deep by Chloe Neill. I have to know what is next after the surprise at the end of the last book in this series.

I also got Death Magic by Eileen Wilks which is the newest in her urban fantasy series (with werewolves).
I got a science fiction novel - I, Robot: to protect by Mickey Zucker Reichert. I remember reading some of her books in the past and am eager to read this one too.

And, last but not least, I got The Next Always by Nora Roberts. This is a contemporary romance and the start of a new trilogy.

That is my mailbox. What did you get this week?

I really want to read Drink Deep and Death Magic, I won Drink Deep in a contest it just hasn't gotten to my house yet. The romance novels look steamy and fun.

  4. Just finished Death Magic yesterday. For me those books take a little longer to read because of all the detail but I really enjoy the series. I hope you like it!
