My Thoughts: The fourteenth book in the World of the Lupi series begins with the party that went to Dis to rescue five children separated. Lily and Cynna are on a world called Dragonhome and in the custody of the Dragon Spawn who rule there. The spawn have made a deal with Lily's enemy who plan to trade the children for something they really want.
Meanwhile, Grandmother and Rule along with Gan are on the same world but a long distance away. They are making their way to where Lily and Cynna are to try to rescue them and get there before the children arrive.
Both groups have adventures and spend a lot of time worried about each other and those they left
behind in the middle of a battle on Dis. They need to figure out how to rescue their children and find a way to defeat the amoral dragon spawn.
While this is the last in the World of the Lupi series, it doesn't feel like it was planned to be the last. There seem to be a lot of plot threads left dangling.
