Cover Reveal: Unholy Blue (Stag Lord #2) by Darby Kaye

I am pleased to be one of the blogs that get to reveal the cover for the next book in the series that began with The Stag Lord. I really love anything that Darby Karchut writes and can't wait to get my hands on this one.
Unholy Blue is the sequel to The Stag Lord and is written by Darby Kaye (a pen name for Darby Karchut).  Unholy Blue is adult urban fantasy.

Unholy Blue will be out in December from Spence City, an imprint of Spencer Hill Press.  (There's not a specific date yet.)

Jacket copy:

Strong and Rare and Irish.

That’s how Shay Doyle likes her whiskey. And men. As Healer to a clan of immortal Celtic warriors living in modern-day Colorado, she has been gifted with such a man: Bannerman “Bann” Boru. The only problem is keeping the stubborn warrior alive. For Fate seems to have it in for Bann, and his son, Cor, descendants of the kings of Ireland, and recipient of an ancient grudge from the mad god, Cernunnos.

But, with a bit o’ luck, Shay, Bann, and the rest of the Doyle clan—along with the aid of a legendary huntsman known as the Black Hand—might just suss out how to kill a shapeshifter that refuses to stay dead, prevent clan warfare, and make a choice that could change their lives.

If they don’t lose them first.

Praise for THE STAG LORD:

“A passionate story with a strong romance…Darby Kaye’s Tuatha Dé Danann shouldn’t be missed.” -- M.D. Waters, author of Archetype and Prototype

“A refreshing glimpse into the world of Celtic mythology and tradition…and give us heroes we want to root for—and reasons to keep turning the pages.”
-- Walter H. Hunt, author of the Dark Wing Universe and Elements of Mind

“Delightful tale filled with action, mystery, and romance.” -- Rabid Reads

“…highly recommend for fans of urban fantasy who are looking for brilliant characters to fall head-over-heels for.” -- A Belle’s Tales.

This one should be on your wishlist if you are a fan of great urban fantasy.

Cover Reveal: The Stag Lord by Darby Kaye

I am pleased to be among those releasing the cover for Darby Karchut's first adult book - The Stag Lord by Darby Kaye. The release date is October 2014. The publisher will be Spence City.
The cover was designed by Errick Nunnally.

Jacket Copy for The Stag Lord by Darby Kaye
On the run across America from a vengeful shape-shifter, Bannerman "Bann" Boru has only one thing on his mind: keeping himself and his young son, Cor, alive.

At any cost.

Until he meets Shay Doyle, healer and member of a secret group of immortal Celtic warriors, the *Tuatha De Danaan*, living in modern-day Colorado. When Cor is injured, Bannerman is forced to accept her help. He quickly realizes that the golden-haired healer is shield-maiden tough and can hold her own on the field of battle with the big boys. And Shay soon discovers that there is more to Bann than meets the eye.

Now, with the shape-shifter Cernunnos teaming up with the local pack of Fir Bolgs (Bronze Age creatures with a nasty taste for children), Bannerman, Shay, her wolf-dog, Max, and the rest of the Doyle clan must figure out how to battle one insane god.
This one sounds like such a good story. I can't wait until October!

Cover Reveal: Falling for Her Fiance and Luck of the Draw

I am pleased to announce two new titles in Entangled Publishing's Bliss line. I was also lucky enough to received review copies. I also will be getting the chance to interview Kelley Vitollo who wrote Luck of the Draw. Check back on Jan. 22 for my interview and on Jan. 23 for the review of Luck of the Draw. My review for Falling for Her Fiancé will be posted on Jan. 30. I can't wait to read these!

About Falling for Her Fiance: Danielle and Wes have been best friends since college, and so when Wes needs a date for his sister’s wedding and Dani needs a partner for her company’s retreat, they devise the perfect plan: a fake engagement to get through both events unscathed. But neither expects the feelings that develop. Putting their friendship on the line is dangerous, but so is passing up a chance at true love…

About Luck of the Draw: Rowan McKinley isn’t looking for one wild night while vacationing in Vegas, but she gets it anyway when she meets professional poker player—and professional ladies’ man—Breck Wilder. Breck’s easygoing charm and lighthearted banter draw in the reserved Rowan, and though she’s always dreamed of the kind of forever love her best friends Sidney and Kade share, she’ll settle for one night with the charismatic player.

After their crazy one-night stand, Breck never expected to see the mysterious redhead again. So when he shows up at a Shamrock Falls B&B looking to get away for a few weeks and Rowan answers the door, he’s floored. Breck’s rolling-stone lifestyle and ill-fated history with women means he’s not interested in anything long-term. But the longer he stays at the B&B, the more he considers dropping the poker face and putting all his cards on the table…for Rowan.
