I picked this book from my TBR stack because I received it from LibraryThing's Early Reviewer program and was in the mood for a thriller. I think I know what the girl's fate is going to be...but I hope that I am wrong.
You're right...now I'm worried about the kid, curious about why she ran away, and wondering what she'll do next.
