In My Mailbox (Oct. 2, 2011)

The weekly In My Mailbox post is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. It is fun to see what everyone else gets in their mailboxes, shopping bags, and library visits. Click on the link to The Story Siren's site to see the rules and join in the fun.

I guarantee that your TBR pile will grow when you see all the wonderful books everyone gets. You will discover lots of great blogs and lots of books that you won't be able to live without.

This is what I added to my TBR stack and my Kindle this week. This was beyond a doubt a "favorite author" week. I am not trying anything by anyone new, apparently.
Darkness Unbound by Keri Arthur is the first book in a new series. I have been reading her books for years and look forward to seeing what story idea she has now.

In Pursuit of Eliza Cynster by Stephanie Laurens continues her work in the Regency era with the exploits of the members of a very large family. I like seeing the glimpses of characters from earlier books too.
I bought The Unquiet anthology 100% because it contains an In Death story by J. D. Robb. Any other stories that I enjoy will just be a bonus.

I received A Lawman's Christmas by Linda Lael Miller for review. I have enjoyed her historical romances in the past and look forward to this one too.
I bought Magic Graves by Jeaniene Frost and Ilona Andrews for my Kindle. The stories were previously published in a couple of different anthologies but it is nice to have them on my Kindle. I don't know that I even have to count these as TBR. I am almost certain that I read the stories in the anthologies in which they first appeared.

Silver Shark by Ilona Andrews is a new science fiction romance by that duo. I believe that it is novella length.

That is what I got. What was in your mailbox?

  2. I hadn't read either of the stories in Magic Graves so I was so excited to get it. I really enjoyed both and all the extras that come with it are awesome.
