On My Wishlist: Hit List by Laurell K. Hamilton

On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City and runs every Saturday. It's where people list all the books they desperately want but haven't actually bought yet. They can be old, new or forthcoming. It's also an event that you can join in with too - Mr Linky is always at the ready for you to link your own 'On My Wishlist' post. If you want to know more click here.

My book choice this week is Hit List by Laurell K. Hamilton. This is the 20th book in the Anita Blake series. I am choosing this one not because of the fulsome plot description at Amazon which says only "Word has leaked to Anita Blake that hit men are headed for St. Louis- and that she, Jean-Claude, and Richard are the targets." but because this series is one of my guilty pleasures and I usually enjoy getting caught up in Anita's drama.

I am having this one sent to my summer home and it should be waiting for me when I arrive there. It should be a great way to kick off my summer reading.

  1. Great choice This was mine a few weeks ago!

  2. Hi! New follower. I really need to start with Anita Blake... :) Check out ours at Under The Covers

  3. I always love the covers for LKH's books. I stopped reading Anita about four books back (not sure where, exactly), but have been wanting to pick her back up.

I'm a new follower. Here's my Wishlist: Cheers!

  4. This week I actually crossed more wishes off my list than I added. Come see what I've read.

  5. Another great choice this week!

I also have this on my Wishlist! June 7th can't come fast enough, LOL!

  6. June release in time for my 49th birthday so Hit List has been on my wishlist every since I read Bullet!

Nice pick Kathy, gotta have those guilty pleasure reads!

  7. It has been awhile since I read an Anita Blake novel..I didn't even realize that she had a new one coming out. Great choice!
