It's Monday, What Are You Reading? is now hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.
I will be combining my YA and adult reading and purchases on this one weekly roundup.
Other Than Reading...
This week was gray, foggy, and rainy. We made more solar power Saturday before noon than we had made any day the past week. It has been a good week for staying inside and reading though.
During the Facebook outage earlier in the week, I spent some time sorting through my physical TBR mountain and set aside a pile of books to move on to others while I was listening to my current audiobook. Of course shelf sorting also lead to the purchase of some books. I had some of the Dante Valentine and Jill Kismet series on the Mountain but not the whole of either series. I found each complete series at Amazon for less than $5 and now own the whole of each series for my Kindle.
I managed to catch up on The Voice before getting involved with all the baseball playoffs. Though my Braves lost yesterday, they are leading as I am writing this. However, it's only the 3rd inning... I hope they can hold their lead and even up the series.
Since I am a number of weeks ahead on my blogging calendar, I am taking some time to reread via audiobook some of my favorite books from favorite series. I'm following a character through the many Liaden Universe books which means some skipping around. I also hope to read my new David Weber book since I recently reread the whole Honor Harrington series. But I won't be reviewing it before December since all my calendar slots are already full.
