It's Monday! What Are You Reading? (March 14, 2022)

It's Monday, What Are You Reading? is now hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date.

It’s Monday!  What Are You Reading is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week.  It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.

I will be combining my YA and adult reading and purchases on this one weekly roundup.

Other Than Reading...

I had a nice week. The sun came out and we made solar power in noticeable amounts most days this past week. It snowed a bit last night, but the panels cleared quickly today with the temperature hovering around freezing. More snow is expected tomorrow night but it should melt quickly too.

This week I have an appointment to have my taxes done. Otherwise, I'm just trying to read April review books and wait patiently for baseball to begin.

Read Last Week

If you can't wait until the review shows up on my blog, reviews are posted to LibraryThing and Goodreads as soon as I write them (usually right after I finish reading a book.)
  • Shadow in the Glass by M. E. Hilliard (Review; April 5) -- Second Greer Hogan contemporary mystery. I liked the characters and found the plot intriguing. My review will be posted on March 31.
  • The Burning Pages by Paige Shelton (Review; April 5) -- I jumped into this cozy mystery series at the seventh book and enjoyed getting to know the characters. I liked the setting. My review will be posted on April 5.
  • The Rose Garden by Susanna Kearsley (Kindle & audiobook) -- This was another engaging title by an author known for her time travel romances. My review will be posted on April 12.
  • Someone Like You by Susan Mallery (Kindle & audiobook) -- Entertaining contemporary romance. My review will be posted on April 7.
  • Crowbones by Anne Bishop (Kindle & Audiobook) -- I first read this one on my Kindle and then listened to the audiobook. It was another great story set in the World of the Others. My review will be posted on Monday.
  • Written in Red by Anne Bishop (Audiobook) -- Crowbones triggered my desire to listen to the original five books in this series which I enjoyed this time as much as I did the first time.
  • Murder of Crows by Anne Bishop (Audiobook) -- Like potato chips, I can't stop at one book in this highly addictive series.
Currently
  • The No-Show by Beth O'Leary (April 12) -- This is a title I was invited to download for review from NetGalley.

  3. It's been snowy here too a little although today it's in the 50's.

I want to try Huber's books.

  4. Sounds like March weather! Even down here, we had both 70 degrees and snow this week! I think that was the last of the snow, though, and we only got a dusting.

Looks like some good books lately for you with plenty of variety. Enjoy your books this week!

  9. Oh wow, you bought the same book in 3 formats? May I ask why? Or maybe I don't understand your listing

  10. The No-Show looks like fun! I'd like to get back to listening to the Andy Carpenter books on audio, too. I think I've only listened to or read the very first one in the series. Our weather is warming up here in Massachusetts, too, but somehow a March day in the 50s feels colder to me than an October day in the 50s. Maybe it's the stiff breeze!
