It's Monday! What Are You Reading? (August 16, 2021)

It's Monday, What Are You Reading? is now hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date.

It’s Monday!  What Are You Reading is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week.  It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.

I will be combining my YA and adult reading and purchases on this one weekly roundup.

Other Than Reading...

Another quiet week here in Northern Minnesota. After a couple of rainy, cloudy days, the sun came out and the temperatures are hovering around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Perfect walking weather and I took advantage of it.
Since I was approved for the next Guild Hunter book coming out on October 26, I decided to focus on rereading/listening to the earlier books in the series. The nice thing is that I have already reviewed them over the past few years and can just listen for pleasure this time. I'll be also reading my other October review books. My August and September calendars are all scheduled except for these Monday posts! I have 49 scheduled posts right now.

This week I have a doctor's appointment with my gastroenterologist Wednesday morning but otherwise my week is appointment free. I am overdue for an eye exam and new glasses and should schedule that appointment too. It is also time for my next oil change. Even though I only have 1200 miles on the car, they want the oil changed every six months.

  3. I love taking a walk on a pleasant day.

We didn't change our oil all of last year. We were told it is based on mileage, not time.

    When Sparks Fly looks promising.
