Teaser Tuesday: A Perfect Storm by Lori Foster

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I am reading A Perfect Storm by Lori Foster today. I am scheduled to be a part of her blog tour this week. I have liked the rest of the books in this series. They are all centered around sexual trafficking. Most of the women are victims and all the heroes are tough honorable men willing to do anything to stop it. This is romantic suspense with the emphasis on hot, sexy romance.

His slight frown didn't lift. "You do realize that there's a big difference between a woman who chooses to prostitute herself, and a woman forced to do so?"

"Yeah, the one choosing it must be nuts."

  1. This teaser with the synopsis makes it very interesting. I wasn't so inclined to read this series, but the teaser may lead me to investigate the series further. Here's My Teaser Tuesday

  2. I bought this book the other day and now I can hardly wait to start reading it. LOVED this series!

  3. I agree with that last sentence. Nuts is slightly understated though.

  4. Great teaser! :)

  5. Haha, that one made me grin :D
Im doing a teaser after so many months! The last two months of being a new mom also took its toll on my blog...still your follower, and back to posting now!
My teaser is from Eric Flint's military novel The Tide of Victory:

  7. Great teaser, Kathy. I like the sounds of this book/series. Thanks for visiting!

  8. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to laugh but funny teaser.

  9. Hmm, I would have said money, but the other suggestion is also a good one.

    Thanks for stopping by!
